It is such a unique feeling when your evil little alarm clock wakes you up in the morning and you realize that the sun has still not risen, and the cruel, cold weather from the night before is still out there to bite you. What you feel next is the silly little desire to call in sick, or even quit your job just because you can stay in your warm, snugly, welcoming bed and continue the pleasant dream that you are struggling to remember. Then, of course, you press snooze and enjoy the five minutes of sleep that seem to last for thirty minutes, or for one minute. After you repeat the same action two or three more times, your conscience kicks in and tells you to man up, wake up, get up, and wash up. This is where you think that you should have taken a shower before bed so that you do not have to get naked, sprinkle water on your body, think about your future, and get that feeling when the shower tap is turned off leaving your body extremely vulnerable to the lightest breeze of air.
Nevertheless, the shower freshens you up and chases away the thought of quitting your job. Instead, you concentrate on how you are going to get to work. Regardless of the manner you select to travel to work, a bit of profanity is almost guaranteed when your pretty little face gets exposed to the lurking cold wind. Try not to say those words out loud as you would probably want to avoid an awkward tension before you start your day.
I should really go take a shower now.
